P.O.W Camp

Since Geoje-do played an important part in the Korean War, here, you can discover the historic Prisoner of War Camp (POW), where nearly 170,000 North Koreans and Chinese prisoners were held during the Korean War in 1950. Now converted into an open-air museum, the park showcases the struggles of life of the POW camp prisoners, together with the exhibitions of tanks, trucks and other relics.
