Amusement Parks
Everland & Caribbean Bay
The largest amusement park in South Korea, Everland has what everyone’s heart’s desire. If you are up for a trill, try out the famous T-Express- one of the world’s steepest wooden roller coasters! Or explore the wild safari while you are traveling around the Lost Valley on an amphibious bus. The park has festivals all year-round, as well as daily parades worth watching. Its water park, Caribbean Bay, is a park for water lovers, as it offers various water rides such as the Wave Pool, River Way and many more. Come by in Spring, and you’ll be greeted by more than a million flowers which fill the park during and annual Tulip Festival.
Maze Land, Jeju
World’s longest stone maze is located none else but in South Korea! Get lost in the 5.3km long maze and feel like you’re the next character in the Maze runner or another great movie scene! The park offers stunning other mazes to keep you entertained, such as wood, stone and tree mazes, with a small museum to learn about the history too!
Lotte World
Did you know that Lotte World is written into a Guinness World Book as the world’s largest indoor amusement park? There is a lot to do for the whole family. Enjoy the small children rides, or discover some of the more awe-taking rollercoasters. The park also has various shows and an artificial lake to entertain the eye.
Seoul Land
A family-oriented theme park has a variety of rides to capture the hearts of its younger visitors. Check out the timetable before you go, as there are various seasonal festivals happening all year-round! The Seoul Land is also a home to Korea’s largest zoo and botanical garden, making it a perfect day trip for all to enjoy.
Gyeongju World Amusement Park
One of the biggest attraction parks in the Southern region of Korea, it offers rides no less exciting than those around Seoul. Check out their breath-taking rollercoasters if you feel brave enough! There is also a large waterpark for when you feel your heart might skip a beat if you return to the rollercoasters again.
Wolmi Theme Park
The park located near Seoul, is quite a celebrity. Although it doesn’t boast any of the extreme rollercoasters, it is well known for a crazy Viking Ship and appearance in various TV shows. If you are a fan of “We Got Married” or “Running Man” you might not want to skip a visit to this one!
Aiins World, Bucheon
Wouldn’t it be great travelling the world while saving on all these plane prices? Come to Aiins World, there, you will be able to admire the best world’s architectural designs right there and then. A great detail has been put into replicating over 100 magnificent models of iconic buildings, making it a one-stop-around-the-world kind of place.
Unique Adventure Parks
Love Land, Jeju
This is definitely a place for 20+ years old, as the park displays some of the most sensual scenes from the adult world. It is a great place for those looking for something different, and who are able to laugh at the taboo topics of today’s society. The park has an indoor and outdoor display areas and is a fun way to spend the day.
Imsil Cheese Theme Park
This one’s for all the cheese fans out there! You got it right, the whole museum dedicated to cheese! Would you like a cheese ride or a cheese snack? Would you like to learn more about cheese making or take a picture in front of a giant cheese building? It’s all possible there! Imsil was the first place in Korea to produce cheese, so they might know just about anything cheese related!
Samcheok Haesindang Park
Liked the idea of Love Land, but would like to explore something more specific? Visit a Penis park! The park flourishes in displays of male penetration organ, thus a good sense of humor is required! Otherwise… stay away from it!
